Philosophy

Philosophy

The Timothy Han philosophy is based on the concept of "Sustainable Luxury" and the belief that it is not necessary to sacrifice luxury in order to live responsibly. It is a philosophy derived from his childhood growing up in Canada and wanting to become a biologist, to his time living in Paris and working for an emerging John Galliano.

As such, the focus is on creating products that fulfil expectations of quality, efficacy and design. Our products are created in a manner which aims to minimise negative environmental impact and promote positive good.

We realise that any business, no matter how well run, has a negative impact upon our environment. That is why we are constantly looking for ways to further minimise our net impact. By working in this manner, we can continue to ensure our ability to source our raw ingredients directly from nature.

We do this in many ways; from working with direct links to farmers and harvesters to ensure that our ingredients are ethically and sensitively sourced, to using recycled and biodegradable packaging where possible, and through to the ethical credentials of our bank and 100% green energy supplier.

Our products do not contain any parabens, animal by-products, petrochemicals, sodium lauryl sulphate, sodium laureth sulphate, or synthetic or artificial fragrances and colours.

The Timothy Han brand is a catalyst for change within the luxury environment.
